OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

IRA Charitable Gifts (Qualified Charitable Distributions)

If you are age 70½ or older, you can support Dementia Caregivers Connection through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

A QCD allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to Dementia Caregivers Connection without first recognizing the distribution as taxable income. If you are age 73 or older and

required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), your QCD may count toward satisfying all or part of that requirement.

How to Make an IRA Gift:

1. Contact your IRA administrator or financial advisor.

2. Request a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to Dementia Caregivers Connection.

3. Ask your IRA custodian to send the distribution directly to our organization.

4. Notify us of your gift so we can properly acknowledge your generosity.
